MOSQUITO TREATMENT WITH ECOLOGICAL PREPARATION BEGINS

The first mosquito larvicidal treatment in Nis, by Company "SANIT M & M" LTD shall take place from April 28 to 30. The suppression of mosquito larvae along the river beds and pond area in the city territory, that represent the habitats of mosquitoes will be conducted according to the established schedule in all city municipalities of Nis. On Wednesday, 29.04.2015 the treatment of mosquitoes in Palilula begins: Gabrovačka river -coastal parts and streams to Suvodolski Potok, Nisava river from the railway bridge all the way to the South Morava, Coastal part of South Morava from entering KO.Gornje Međurovo to the confluence with the Nisava.

On Thursday, 30.04.2015 the teams of SANITA will be in the territory of Palilula: Batušinačke bare, ponds next to the Nisava and the old riverbed at Medoševac, Gypsy key and ponds between Trupale and Popovac villages.

Squads of operatives will be from 8:00 in the morning on the ground. The treatment will be carried out with ecological preparatory on the basis of environmental chemical growth regulators with specific effects on mosquitoes larvae. .Preparatory is safe for aquatic fauna and other organisms and does not require special precautions.

In case of extremely bad weather conditions the treatment is postponed to the first following day when weather conditions are favorable for the execution of the action.
